Automated Email Updates to Teachers for New Strategies

We know that communicating the needs of students clearly and effectively is the cornerstone of a "whole-school" approach to inclusion. As part of this, we want to maximize the speed with which new information and strategies are seen and implemented by staff. 


In order to help facilitate this, we are creating an automated email update system. Whenever a new recurring profile is completed for a student and has its recommendations added an email will automatically be sent out to the teachers of that student to ensure they are aware of the new, or continuing, strategies for that student.


This will help to bring the information teachers need straight to them, without having to look up the information on the Spencer app itself. This will reduce an additional admin task for teachers as well as support stuff - the former not having to check in with the platform to keep up to date and the latter not needing to send out notifications to check the platform.
